 Rules of Courtesy
  • Based on the assumption that everyone at a Parents Without Partners function is unattached, if you happen to bring a date for a meeting or social event, don't feel offended if your date is asked to dance or is stopped for conversation.  It is permissible and expected.
  • Women are encouraged to ask the men to dance.  Members are encouraged to accept a dance asked.  There is no obligation of any kind to someone who asks you to dance.
  • Please remember the membership files are confidential.  Anyone wanting a member's phone number or address must get it from that person.
  • All events are Dutch Treat.  If someone offers to pay, accept if you wish, but this does not obligate you of the evening.
  • At family activities, each parent is responsable for the behavior of his or her children.
  • All members are welcome to attend family activities with or without children.
  • No alcoholic beverages are allowed at family or educational activities.

 

 May 10th,  Family & Youth hosting an afternoon at Sport-

                   way Activity Center from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

                   located at 38520 Ford Road just east of I-275.

                   The center includes go-carts, batting cages

                   & putt-putt. The W/W children will be subsidized

                   for two of the events.  RSVP Kathy S. at

May 10th,   We are hosting a Cinco D' Mayo dance at the

                   Dearborn Elks Club, located at 25000 Michigan

                   Ave. Dearborn (1/4 mile west of Telegragh Rd).

                   from 9:00 pm to 12:30 am.  Call Diana at

                   734-751-7386 for directions.

 

May 16th, 17th & 18th,   Zone-D Conference in Fairborn,

                   Ohio

 

May 22nd, 23rd, 24th & 25th:  We are hosting a Texas

                   Hold'em tournament and cash play event at the

                   Bel-Mark Lanes, located at 3530 Jackson Road

                   in Ann Arbor.  Must be 18 years of age to play.

                   The (4) day event will run from 5:00 p.m. to

                    2:00 a.m. each day.
